Chapter 164

Fingertips traced down her spine, a sudden jerk and she was flattened against his chest.

Her breath was knocked from her lungs, and her face came flush with his. A wild fire was blazing from his eyes, a high flush streaked his cheekbones and his racing breath fluttered over her face.

His hands settled on her cheeks, gripping them tightly he squeezed at their firmness.  A slumberous heat ignited in her eyes , her pupils dilating.

She felt his fingers seeking her moist spot and she bit her lip in anticipation.

Straightening up she searched his face. His face was lit, pure joy shone from it.

His kiss was achingly gentle and she couldn’t help the tears spilling from her as he held her chin gently, his mouth telling her just how much he loved her.

Feeling the saltiness of her tears, he caught one on the tip of his tongue, savoring the salty taste.

“This is forever.”

“Forever.”

She saw the mist in his eyes and the promise of eternity written in his smile.
