Jon hated the little scene playing in his mind. Jason was playing house with his son and his…and his what? That thought didn’t sit well with him but her hello forced it out of his mind.
“Hello Megan. I take it you are having fun.”
Sarcasm laced his voice.
“Yes, thank you Jon but I guess you didn’t call me to ask me if Im having fun. “
“No I haven’t. Couldn’t wait to get Jason all to yourself huh? “
“None..”
“…of my business , yeah I know. I just had an idea and I think Jaden is kind of excited about it. I want you and Jaden to join me the last night of the show. You did promise him that he will see at least one show, you owe him that.”
“You just love to rub my nose in it don’t you?”
“Yep.”
His laugh brought a smile to her lips.
“Ok then Jon, tell me when and where and I’ll get us there.”
“You just get your sweet ass to the airport. The plane will be waiting. I’ll call you with the details.”
“Ok then.”
“Megan..wait. Another favor?””
“I’m not the fairy you know!”
He could hear the tease in her voice.
“Damn! Really? Oh well that’s a shame, but seriously. I take it you haven’t told Jaden about me?”
“No, I plan to do it tonight.”
“Lets wait until you are both here, I would like to be there, please?”
Megan was silent for so long Jon wasn’t sure what was going on.
“Megan?”
“I’m here. Ok Jon I’ll wait, but I hope you are prepared for it. He might react badly and I don’t want you to feel insulted by it, hell I don’t know how he will act.”
“I can handle it. I promise. Thanks baby, well I guess I have to let you go.”
“Night Jon.” I love you she almost said.
